Daily Star: Milan će prodati Kaku sljedećeg ljeta!

Ako je vjerovati napisima engleskog Daily Stara onda je Milan spreman na megalomansku ponudu Chelseaja za najboljeg svjetskog nogometaša - Kaku...

Cijelo ljeto se moglo slušati kako londonski klub povećava cijenu za Kaku, no u Milanu su, činilo se, bili prilično jasni oko svog stava, odnosno oko neprodavanja brazilskog veznog igrača.

Cijena koju je Chelsea nudio najčešće se kretala oko 100 milijuna engleskih funti, no u jednom trenutku je čak porasla i na 150 milijuna, ako je vjerovati velikom dijelu engleskih medija.

Kako piše Daily Star navodno je Milanov dopredsjednik Adriano Galliani pustio zeleno svjetlo za Kaku, odnosno Milan je navodno spreman pustiti Kaku sljedećeg ljeta u London za - 102 milijuna engleskih funti.

Ova priča će, gotovo je sigurno, dobiti nove epizode, no izgleda kako su u Milanu sve mekši glede igrača koji im je donio toliko uspjeha posljednjih godina.

Ševin labuđi pjev u Milanu
PREMA pisanju La Gazzette dello Sport, ukrajinski napadač Andrij Ševčenko na pragu je povratka u Milan, a sve bi moglo biti dogovoreno već sutra.

Ukrajinac, član Chelseaja, je zatražio vlasnika londonskog kluba, Romana Abramoviča, da ga pusti na posudbu, s čime se, tvrde talijanski izvori, bogati Rus i složio. Znana je želja Milanovih čelnika, koji bi voljeli svog bivšeg napadača vratiti u svoje jato, a čini se da će im to sada i poći za rukom. Za njih u cijeloj priči najvažnije - besplatno.

Prvi ljudi klubova koji razgovaraju o posudbi, Abramovič i Berlusconi već su se susreli i navodno dogovorili posudbu Ukrajinca koji je u sedam godina igranja za talijansku momčad ostavio dubok trag. Tada je, podsjetimo, od 1999. do 2006. godine u 296 utakmica postigao 173 gola za sastav sa San Sira.

Nakon toga je uslijedila dvogodišnja epizoda u Chelseaju, gdje se Ševčenko nije ni naigrao (djelomično zbog ozljeda) ni nazabijao (22 gola u dvije godine nije dovoljno za strijelca takvog kalibra) , a klub je u dvije godine njegovog staža osvojio samo dva trofeja - FA i Liga kup.

Obzirom da sljedeći mjesec puni 32 godine, vjerojatno će u klubu u kojem je proveo najljepše trenutke karijere i osvojio Ligu prvaka i Scudetto i okončati karijeru.

Galliani accosted at Sensi funeral

Roma fans have paid their last respects to Franco Sensi, but today's funeral was marred by an attack on Milan director Adriano Galliani.

Thousands of mourners attended the San Lorenzo al Verano Church near Rome for a service dedicated to the memory of the greatest President in the Giallorossi's history.

The entire Roma squad were present and there was a touching reading from veteran striker Vincenzo Montella.

“Nobody could forget the passion with which he always followed us,” he said. “We will try and continue to make him smile from up above.”

Coach Luciano Spalletti and captain Francesco Totti were pallbearers to carry Sensi out of the church.

But the respectful atmosphere was broken by a group of thugs who tried to attack Milan Vice-President Galliani.

The men were blocked by security but heckled and booed Galliani, throwing water at him.

Galliani never saw eye to eye with Sensi and it is believed that the Ultras were angry that he had attended the service.

This incident is another worry for the authorities in their bid to stop football-related violence and comes just days after an attack on Bari boss Antonio Conte in Lecce.



Sheva To Join Milan Tomorrow

Chelsea striker Andrei Shevchenko will complete his return to Milan tomorrow in a one-year loan deal, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

This Rossoneri have been having something of a forward crisis in recent weeks as Ronaldinho and Alexandre Pato are away on Olympic duty with Brazil, Kaka is recovering from a knee operation, Marco Borriello is injured, while Pippo Inzaghi is only just working his way back to full fitness.

With the 18-year-old Alberto Paloschi the only other striker option, Milan have been forced to go back into the market for a frontman, and over recent days they have been quietly working on a deal to bring Andriy Shevchenko back to the club.

Roman Abramovich and Silvio Berlusconi held a decisive meeting last Thursday, which took place at Villa Certosa in Sardinia, where they came to an agreement which will see Shevchenko move to San Siro on loan.

The transfer is likely to be completed tomorrow, or Friday at the very latest, and Chelsea will also pay €6.5m of the player’s wages.

Shevchenko, who is surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, and was not called up for the first game of the season against Portsmouth on Sunday, is set to be handed the number 76 shirt, after the year of his birth.

The 32-year-old had seven brilliant seasons with Milan from 1999 to 2006, scoring 127 goals in just 208 games, before moving to Chelsea in 2006 for a whopping €45m.

However, he has had two dreadful years in the English capital, and is well known to be desperate to move back to Italy.

Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso is waiting to discover how serious last night's shoulder injury is.

The pugnacious Rossonero sustained the injury early during Italy's friendly against Austria in Nice.

Gattuso tried to play on through the pain but just before half-time he signalled that he was unable to continue and was replaced by Roma man Simone Perrotta.

Ringhio will undergo X-rays this afternoon to try and gauge the extent of the problem.

The most likely outcome is severe bruising or a strain, but there is a chance that there could be more serious damage.

Milan Coach Carlo Ancelotti will be nervously waiting for news as he had been relying on Gattuso being fully fit for the start of the season.

The Diavolo already have a number of injuries to deal with and the absence of such a key man could be costly ahead of their 2008-09 Scudetto bid.

Milan are 'a long way from Sheva'

Latest reports suggest that Milan are some distance from reaching an agreement with Chelsea for the signature of Andriy Shevchenko.

The Ukrainian international was a hero at San Siro before leaving for Chelsea in the summer of 2006.

Sheva has suffered horribly at Stamford Bridge and is allegedly desperate to return to his old stomping ground and rumours stated that a loan deal between Milan and Chelsea was almost complete.

However, despite Milan director Silvano Ramacconi's claims yesterday that an agreement is close there are a number of stumbling blocks.

According to The Independent, the Rossoneri have asked Chelsea to pay a portion of Shevchenko's wages but the Blues are unwilling to do so.

Having dug deep in their wallet to bring Ronaldinho to the club earlier in the summer, Milan don't have a great deal of money available for Sheva's salary.

It is widely believed that the only way a deal can be done is if Shevchenko is included in a move for defender Branislav Ivanovic.
