a sheva nije ni dobio pravu prliku, da je igrao ovu sezonu zabio bi 20 komada najmanje..

Grant's Chelsea future decided Friday

Chelsea boss Avram Grant's future will be decided BEFORE next week's Champions League final against Manchester United.

The Sun says Grant will meet Roman Abramovich on Friday to hammer out whether he stays or goes as boss.

That means he may know he is out of a job before the Champions League final a week tomorrow.

Grant has yet to be told Chelsea's plans despite asking on several occasions.

The feeling within the club is Abramovich will give the Israeli the chance of returning to his role as director of football and go for Barcelona boss Frank Rijkaard.

Cech rattles Chelsea with new contract demands

Petr Cech is demanding a bumper pay-rise to stay with Chelsea, it has been revealed.

The Sun says Cech has rocked the club by demanding a pay rise claiming a top club is waiting with a £32m bid.

Cech, 25, has two years left on his £50,000-a-week deal.

His agent Pavel Zika said: "A very big European club is ready to pay £32m for Petr. At the end of the season we will examine his contract to see if we can improve it."

Chelsea consider bid for Palermo striker Amauri

Chelsea are weighing up a bid for Palermo striker Amauri.

The Daily Mail says Amauri, a Brazilian striker playing in Italy, is one man interesting Chelsea's army of decision makers. The player has scored 15 goals in 34 appearances for Serie A side Palermo but he would only be a squad player if Chelsea were to follow up their initial inquiry.

Chelsea's Sidwell demands too rich for Middlesbrough

Chelsea midfielder Steve Sidwell must drop his wage demands to make a move to Middlesbrough.

The Daily Mail says Gareth Southgate has made Sidwell his number one target this summer, but Middlesbrough are baulking at the Chelsea midfielder's £50,000-a-week wage demands.

Boro face competition from Everton and Aston Villa for the 25-year-old, who is available for just £2m.

Essien: Chelsea don't play good football

Michael Essien admits Chelsea "don't play good football".

The Ghana midfielder said: "All I think about is my team - and to win. We don't play good football, we have to win. Like the Liverpool game, what mattered was the win. In the end we put down a good performance and won it as well."

The Ghanaian-born player, who has scored several spectacular goals added: "Before I used to kill people in the stands. Now I'm killing goalkeepers. The passing is better. I'm comfortable now and I read the game much better than I did before."

Midfielder Claude Makelele has also influenced him in improving his role. "He's always talking to me and teaching me how to do it. He's our grandfather. Our great grandfather! A really funny guy and always smiling to everybody."

Didier Drogba, reprezentativac Obale Bjelokosti i najbolji strijelac Chelseaja, bi trebao biti zvijezda ovoljetnog prijelaznog roka...
Zadnjih mjeseci se ne osjeća najbolje u Londonu, često je imao verbalne sukobe s igračima i strukom, a i sam je izjavio kako je bježao na tajne pregovore s čelnicima Milana.

Nekoliko puta su ga mediji selili ili u Milan ili u Inter, te je bilo sasvim sigurno kako će napustiti Stamford Bridge nakon finalne utakmice Lige prvaka.

No, Drogba je u razgovoru za France Football rekao nešto sasvim drugačije:

"Izgleda kako svi drugi znaju što je najbolje za mene. Znaju čak i ono što ću ja učiniti. Lijepo bi ih zamolio da se ne miješaju u tuđi život i da ne pišu ili govore gluposti. Još sam uvijek igrač Chelseaja i nigdje nisam otišao", rekao je Drogba, te dodao:

"Meni i mojoj obitelji je lijepo u Londonu. Baš sam kupio novu kuću. Uživamo, a ja s Chelseajom ostvarujem dobre rezultate. Dobro sam plaćen i svatko razuman bi ostao tu gdje jesam. Zato bih zamolio sve ljude neka me prestanu seljakati iz kluba u kluba", rekao je Drogba.
