Rain and heavy winds in Barcelona

It is cold, rainy, and the sky is dark. The European Final Four in Barcelona, Spain is facing a very difficult start due to rain, clouds and heavy winds, so that the conditions at the pool-side of the Montjuic Municipal Swimming Pool are very difficult for all involved persons, including the spectators. The weather had been good the day before, but nobody had really expected a weather situation like this here in Spain.

The whole situation is pretty similar due to the 2006 European Swimming Championships in Budapest, Hungary, when the competition was stopped several times after heavy rain falls. The players of Pro Recco, Italy and Mladost Zagreb, Croatia entered the competition pool about half an hour before the first swim-off, so that the first semi-final match is expected to start right in time nevertheless.

a Jug u finalu.... cestitam... al kaj su sve tamo radili... Mladost 50-ak minuta zakasnila zbog guzve na trening, igra se po kisi, bolje receno po pljusku, vjetar je puhao ko lud... a oni su igrali vani vaterpolo...
